West Pennant Hills is situated in the Hills District of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Surrounding suburbs are Baulkham Hills to the west, Carlingford to the south, Beecroft to the east, and Cherrybrook and Castle Hill to the north. Surrounded by nature, nice looking houses, beautiful lawns and middle-class families accompany affluence, all of which combine to create such a friendly neighbourhood. The area is well known for the Koala Park Sanctuary and the Cumberland State Forest. Both attractions are popular venues with visitors into the suburb. Plus, there is a shopping complex on Coonara Avenue nearby where you can easily find a Woolworths supermarket, several great restaurants that suit your taste, news agency, and many other small shops.

At the 2016 census, West Pennant Hills recorded a population of 16,374, and most people were born in Australia, followed by China, India, Hong Kong, England and Sri Lanka. 25% of whom are under 18. The median age was 41, and there is a high percentage of university and more senior education graduates—over 40%. With quite an older population, the volume of schools in West Pennant Hills is a little lower than some other suburbs around Sydney. However, more than half the locals here are professionals or managers with highly educated socio-economic profiles. Overall, it is no doubt an excellent choice if you are looking for a friendly and safe family suburb.
